Huijue Group “Builds a Bridge” to Dreams for Students with Disabilities

Recently, Shanghai HuiJue Technologies Group Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Huijue Group”) joined hands with the Jiangxi Provincial Disabled Persons’ Welfare Foundation to implement the second phase of the “Nurturing Program for Students with Disabilities in Need” (Warmth Project).

To help disabled university students overcome obstacles and realize their campus dreams, Huijue Group actively responded to the call of the Jiangxi Province Disabled Persons’ Welfare Foundation and participated in the “Nurturing Program for Disadvantaged Disabled Students” (Phase II) project. The project, jointly promoted by the foundation and the Dongxiang District Disabled Persons’ Federation of Fuzhou City, focuses on targeted assistance, providing both living and academic support to disabled university students from impoverished families, ensuring that every educational aspiration is warmly supported.

Precision-targeted measures to safeguard the path of growth

Since the project’s launch, Huijue Group has placed high importance on it and proactively engaged in collaboration. The three parties conducted needs assessments through home visits and academic evaluations, gaining a detailed understanding of the family circumstances, academic challenges, and living needs of disabled students. They selected disabled university students from Dongxiang District who met the eligibility criteria as recipients of the second phase of assistance. Based on the actual needs of the assisted students in areas such as accommodation, commuting, academic tutoring, and daily living, the project team conducted repeated discussions and refinements to develop a comprehensive support plan covering financial assistance, resource linkage, and ongoing care.

Scholarships light up hope for the new semester

In mid-July, the special assistance funds from Huijue Group were successfully disbursed. The foundation immediately initiated the review process, confirmed the accuracy of the information, and swiftly completed the disbursement procedures. By late July, the scholarships were delivered to each of the assisted disabled university students in need. This timely support allowed them to alleviate their financial burdens and focus on preparing for the new semester. During the project implementation period, Hui Jue collaborated with the foundation to conduct regular telephone follow-ups, working with the Dongxiang District Disabled Persons’ Federation to track and record students’ academic progress and lifestyle changes. They promptly coordinated resources to address new needs, extending the support from a “one-time grant” to “ongoing accompaniment.”
