Huijue Group Supports Implementation of “Emergency Spinal Care Kit” Project in Jiangxi

A single care pad may be light, yet it sustains a spinal cord injury patient’s restful sleep throughout the night; 3,000 incontinence pads may seem modest, yet they sufficiently alleviate the monthly burden of over a hundred yuan for 100 families.

Recently, Huijue Group donated funds to the Jiangxi Disabled Persons’ Welfare Foundation to launch the first phase of the “Emergency Spinal Care Aid Package” project in Dongxiang District, Fuzhou City. By procuring incontinence pads and nursing pads for financially struggling spinal cord injury patients, the initiative tangibly alleviates daily care challenges, improving the quality of life for 100 individuals facing hardship.

Throughout the project’s implementation, Huijue Group actively collaborated with the Dongxiang District Disabled Persons’ Federation and the Dongxiang District Association for Persons with Physical Disabilities to formulate a scientifically sound implementation plan. This process identified 100 financially disadvantaged spinal cord injury patients as beneficiaries, ensuring the charitable funds were effectively utilised.

To guarantee both quality and fairness in procurement, a rigorous three-party price comparison process was adopted. The project procured 300 packs of adult incontinence pads (3,000 pieces) and 300 packs of adult care pads (9,000 pieces). Each beneficiary received a standard allocation of incontinence pads and care pads. Distribution combined centralised collection with home deliveries: a collective handover ceremony was held at Dongxiang District’s Comprehensive Service Centre for Persons with Disabilities, while staff delivered supplies to the homes of those with limited mobility.

The project’s successful implementation alleviated the financial burdens of spinal cord injury patients while enabling beneficiaries to tangibly experience corporate and societal care, bolstering their confidence in facing daily life.
