Project Overview

Located in Sudan, this project addresses the region’s inadequate grid supply by implementing an integrated ‘photovoltaic + energy storage’ solution to provide clients with stable, clean power. The comprehensive system comprises a 215kWh energy storage cabinet project (2+1 sets in parallel) and a 50kWh energy storage cabinet project (1 set), primarily operating in off-grid mode with provisions for future grid connection expansion.

Application Scenario

Off-grid Power Supply: Photovoltaic energy prioritises load fulfilment, with surplus electricity stored in batteries. The energy storage system provides a continuous power supply during nighttime and overcast conditions.

Grid-Connection Expansion (Reserved): Supports grid-connected operation upon future mains grid integration, balancing self-generation for self-consumption with grid interaction.

Anti-Backflow Design (50KWh Project): Prevents surplus electricity from being fed back into the grid while retaining an interface for electricity sales functionality.

 

Installed Capacity

215KWh Project:

Configuration 1: 2 x 100KW/215KWh energy storage cabinets + 5 x 125KW PV inverters (reserved for expansion).

Configuration 2: 1 x 100KW/215KWh energy storage cabinet + 3 x 125KW PV inverters (reserved for expansion).

50KWh Project:

1 x 50KW/50KWh energy storage cabinet + 1 x 50KW PV inverter + high-voltage switchgear.
